IPC 7711/7721

IPC-7711/7721 Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies Training and Certification Program is a widely used standard and offers a wealth of industry approved techniques on through-hole and surface-mount rework as well as land, conductor and laminate repair.  The standard also includes procedures for repairing and modifying boards and assemblies.  The standard also supports the Lead-free and BGA’s and Flex Print repairs. The IPC-7711/7721 is an advanced course designed as a comprehensive hands-on training program that requires participants with proficient soldering skills. The students will be evaluated on both theory and practical work. Participants should be IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 certified or should possess adequate soldering ability and have good knowledge and experience in electronic assembly.

Why earn IPC-7711/7721 certification?

IPC-7711/7721 training and certification has immediate recognition, legitimacy and value throughout the electronics industry. The training and certification program delivers a flexible, highly skills-oriented program. Certification in this industry-developed and approved program can give your employees the skills they need to restore operation of expensive electronic assemblies. In return it can reduce the cost and waste associated with scrapping flawed boards and assemblies.
